Be as inspired as the Poet of Nicolas Poussin

Nicolas Poussin (1594-1665) was considered by Pierre Rosenberg as the best French painter: he has painted a particularly catchy oil named l'Inspiration du Poète.

The oil prefigures a sensual setting: main characters with hot palette of red, orange and yellow, a muse admiring infinite landscapes, sweet putti and a shining and bright Nature.

We can feel Poussin was incredibly delighted to paint, the oil evokes his vivid interior life. Consequently, a well-being feeling and a strong alignment characterize this piece of art, as the simple achievement of the Univers through Nicolas, his hand and the Inspiration du Poete.

To go beyond the stars: Let your feet go to the Louvre Museum, where this recently renovated piece of art can be studied! A brilliant moment!
